Since colorant is more abrasive than most liquids, your color pump should be calibrated every 100 hours and replaced at 600 hours. For worst-case scenarios, you should stock one rebuild kit per color pump. Each kit comes with everything you need: one replacement hose, one O-ring gasket and plenty of glycerin lubricant.
