Why You Should Conduct an End-Of-Season Review
Review your business — and your customers'.
Conduct an honest end-of-season review of your internal operations and develop a plan to address concerns. On the flip side, conduct a seasonal review with your key customers. Remind them of the extra things you did to help them succeed and discuss how you can work together to make next year even better.
Ask the right questions.
Planning — How prepared were you for the early season, and what would you do differently next year?
Equipment — Are there signs of wear on the color pumps and the arms, liners
Production costs — Were you successful in producing for the cost you expected? Did you overapply or underapply mulch colorant based on sales versus colorant purchases? Did you factor in enough cost to process the raw material and for grinding and screening?
Freight — How many bags per pallet or yards per load did you average for each truckload? How can you improve that next year?
Let us help.
